The unit starts with an introduction to what Celebrate Freedom Week is and important ideas of how it relates to citizens, both kids and adults. This unit also covers the main key points, intent, and purpose of the Declaration of Independence, the U.S. Constitution, and the Bill of Rights. Students will also have the opportunity to recite and discuss the Preamble to the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution.
