Unit 1 Section 3 of the Smart and Simple Social Studies Guided World Cultures Curriculum is the Foundations of World Cultures Project. After learning about the geography of the different regions of world and comparing and analyzing a variety of world societies, students will research, analyze, and create a visual about a world region or country of their choice using the provided guided questions and rubric.
This unit primarily correlates to the current TEKS 6th grade Social Studies standards (adopted 2024). It includes EVERYTHING you need to conduct a world cultures project – just print & go!
