Texas Geography Project 7th Grade Social Studies Curriculum Unit TEKS Aligned

Unit 2 Section 4 of the Smart and Simple Social Studies 7th Grade Texas History Guided Curriculum is the Texas Geography Project. After learning about Texas’s regions, population patterns, and how modification has impacted the Texas environment, students will research a region or subregion in greater depth and present their findings in a travel guide or brochure, using prompts, guided questions, reflection questions, brochure template, and a rubric.

This unit primarily correlates to the current TEKS 7th grade Social Studies standards (adopted 2024). It includes EVERYTHING you need to conduct a Texas Geography Travel Guide Project – just print & go!
