Unit 1 Section 2 of the Smart and Simple Social Studies 7th Grade Texas History Guided Curriculum is the Texas Eras Project. After learning about 12 important eras in Texas history, students will research an era in greater depth and present their findings in a unique, interactive museum exhibit with prompts, guided questions, reflection questions, and a rubric.

This unit primarily correlates to the current TEKS 7th grade Social Studies standards (adopted 2024). It includes EVERYTHING you need to conduct a Texas Eras Museum Project – just print & go!
